Abbey Music Recording Studio is available for a wide range of
services, we have catered for solo performers, hip hop, rap and d j artists,
gospel choirs to large rock group / jazz band projects.
We will adapt to suit your needs and to obtain the best possible results for you.
 
The Live Room is approximately 6 x 7 metres with an
acoustically designed pitched
roof creating a good natural ambience, both spacious and comfortable, providing
full eye contact between the control room, Vocal booth and drum room
(Without the use of a camera and
monitor screen as used in some, lesser equipped studios).
Additionally, we can provide full backline, including a baby grand piano,
session musicians / singers / backing vocalists, song writers or arrangers, to
suit your needs.
  
We have produced from small digitally recorded backing track /
vocals and overlays, to full blown 24 track analogue rock albums, and anywhere
in - between.
We use Mackie 24 track digital hard disk recorder via a 36 : 32
Soundtracs console for warm analogue front end recordings, and for digital we use a
combination of Motu 828 mk2 digital interface controlled by a Tascam US2000
control surface
TL Audio Voice Processors and Compressors help us control our
mixes, whilst retaining a warm and natural sound without impeding on clarity.
